Lydonyé Agost, also known as the Mother of Ingtandel and the Mother of Gryphons, is the daughter of Tordun and Anjia Agost and is the queen of the Aquilons. She is the rider of a blue-tipped gryphon named Mirduit. Lydonyé married one of Ansgar's (Arbor Mei) turncloaks, Agndár. She is best known for the creation of the Aquilons, the freeing of the Whores of Castel, and the peace treaty between Ingtandel and the Other, which ended three thousand years of hatred and fear.
Appearance[]
Lydonyé was considered the least beautiful of her sisters, being of a more stout, solid build with short legs, broader shoulders and a plain, unattractive face. Her hair is long and golden-brown, and her eyes a pale blue-gray that many said were the color of the eastern oceans. According to her second husband, Szsaran, her body was incredibly soft. Despite being plump and plain, her smile is said to shine brighter than the sun, and her presence has been said to bring both calm and happiness.

Before The Aquilon[]
Little is known about Lydonyé's early history. She was born in the Ai'gyran city of Vestarthia in the Agost Clan Hall, where her family, patrons of the tribe of Ithys, had lived since the First Age. After the tribe of Ithys fell out of favor with the current king for being of the tribe of Ithys, the Agost Clan relocated to the holy city of Tua'lan to escape immediate persecution. Her new home, an ancient compound belonging to one of her brother-in-law's fathers, was where she was currently living before she was taken to the city of Kalos to fulfill her duties as the Gryphonmother.
